This wiki details those features which are already available in CiviHR, those which are under development, and those which are being considered for future development.
CiviHR is currently on Version 1.6 (MVP). Access to this solution is already available for early adopters.
As a Launch Client, you will receive free hosting and be able to provide feedback for features to be developed in the future.
For us, it is important that everyone has access to CiviHR from the start, which is why with Version 1.6 you can set different user permissions for the HR administrator, managers, and staff.
Those in charge of HR in your organisation will have full access to the administrator site. HR admin can add new contacts when a new staff member joins and attach important documents to their profile, such as their job contracts. Each staff member will have their own profile, and as a HR admin, you can generate them a login to the Self Service Portal. You can also add their leave entitlement with absences and view who has been off that month with the reports feature. HR admin can create HR tasks and assign them to staff, such as for a new joiner or recruitment.
Staff members can only view their own profile, which they do so through the Self Service Portal. They can update their personal information, request leave, view documents uploaded by the HR manager and search their organisation's staff directory. Line managers receive a notification when leave is requested by one of the staff they are leave approvers for.

These are features which our team are currently working on and will be available for use shortly.
Currently, there are three main features which are being developed.
We are working on a new version of absences which will including new flexible working patterns and the ability to request leave for half-days, full-days, or a quarter of days.
A second version for vacancies is also being developed. Recruitment is one of the most difficult tasks in HR. We want your energy to be focused on picking the right person, not on how to post vacancies on a site and keep track of all CVs coming in. The improved module will help you through the hiring steps, allowing you to delegate tasks to managers and staff along the way.
Finally, we are working on a way for managers to record visa information, so that they can stay on track of expiration dates and be notified of steps to renew this.

We would also like to share with you some ideas that we are brainstorming for future development. We have interviewed more than 100 non-profits and asked the what problems they would like to fix and what are their requirements to make HR easier.
We've heard from fellow HR managers that appraisals is a practice that they would like to have recorded on CiviHR. Another idea we have is to support organisations that work within multiple countries with an internationalisation feature.
We are open to suggestions and would appreciate your input with any feature that is for future considerations.
